2010 Local Race Series (Apr.14-Oct.3)
Points will be tabulated after every Local Race (excluding-Redline Cup Race-Sept.12 & The Final Race-Oct.6). Note that DOUBLE POINTS will be earned at the following races: Provincial Qualifier-May.29, RaceForLife-June 9, King's Cup-Sept.11
This race series is a local incentive program designed to establish a riders ranking based on PARTICIPATION - you will earn points every time that you race. PERFORMANCE - a better finish scores higher points. PROFICIENCY - expert riders earn more points than intermediate than do novice riders. Top Rider Awards will be presented at out year-end banguet.
*There are 2 changes for 2010 (as of May) to the L.R.S. first: for half trackers, 1st place will receive 14 points, all other finishes will receive 12 points. second: any rider racing with multiple groups will receive 'group points', example- 2 groups = 2 extra points, 3 groups = 3 extra points.
Local Race Series points are ONLY earned at the Kelowna Track by Kelowna BMX Members. Some other points that can be earned . . .
